Women's Cross Country Earns First Place at United East Conference Championship Meet. Defends Title for Third Straight Year

Langhorne, PA --  The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Cross Country Team looked to defend their title at the United East Conference Championship Meet. The Women's squad was successful in their title defense, taking home first place in the 6k race.

Top Performers 

The top five Seahawk performers today were Elizabeth Robey, Brittney Douglas, Madison Kingsley, Kaylee Holston, and Stacie Lally.

 Elizabeth Robey was the first Seahawk runner to complete the race, as well as the fifth runner overall to finish. Robey crossed the finish line at the 27:43 mark. Finishing three spots later was Brittney Douglas. Douglas completed the race in 28:31, which earned her eighth place. Madison Kingsley was the third Seahawk to finish the race with a time of 29:17. That time was good enough for 13th place. Kaylee Holston finished just outside the top 15, picking up 16th place. Holston crossed the finish line with a time of 29:29. Stacie Lally rounded out the Seahawk top five, Lally finished in 18th place and completed the course in 29:43. Despite being outside the Seahawk top five, Weiya Carter finished inside the top 20 and finished the race in 29:48.

There were 83 total runners for the women's race.
