Seahawk Men's Rowing Grabs Top 20 Finish in First Event of the Fall

Philadelphia, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's rowing team competed in their first event of the fall season – the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia.

How It Happened

  • The Seahawks opened up the day with the Open/Collegiate 4+ race. St. Mary's finished 19th overall in the 23-boat field with a time of 16:32.79.
  • The next event was the Open/Collegiate 8+ and the Seahawks put up a time of 16:04.59 for 26th overall.
  • St. Mary's scratched its final event – the Collegiate Frosh/Novice 4+.
