    Kansas City, Kans. – The St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s soccer team claimed their first-ever distinction as an NSCAA College Team Academic Award winner as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for the 2011-12 academic year.

Matthew Braun had a tremendous debut for the Seahawks as well as the first-year forward netted both goals in the win.
