St. Mary's City, MD-- The St. Mary's Women's Rowing Team hosted current ranked #1, and defending NCAA DIII Rowing champions, Wellesley (Mar. 31) in a home regatta.  The Seahawks were only able to complete the racing for 2V8 before conditions deteriorated and the remaining races were canceled. There was a 15 mph cross tailwind, with rolling waves and whitecaps in the last 1000 meters. 

How it Happened:

• The Seahawks finished the race in 7:42, behind the Wellesley second and third varsity boats, who finished in 6:56 and 7:08 respectively.
