Fairfax Station, VA-- The St. Mary's Women's Rowing Team traveled to Fairfax Station, Virginia for the Annual MARC Championships. The Seahawks competed against: MSOE, Catholic, Bryn Mawr, Cabrini, Marietta, Stockton, Washington College, and Franklin and Marshall.Â

The Seahawks Varsity 8 team competed in heat one and took home first place, earning a trip to the Grand Finale. St. Mary's crossed the finish line with a time of 7:29.4. Bryn Mawr and Catholic finished two and three in the heat and joined the Seahawks in the Grand Finale.

 The St. Mary's Second Varsity Squad took home second place in their lone race of the day. The Seahawks crossed the finish line just behind Washington College, who only had about a second advantage. 7:37.5 was the time awarded to the Seahawks Second Varsity Squad.Â

In the First Varsity Grand Finale, the Seahawks placed third behind Stockton and Washington College. The St. Mary's team crossed the finish line in 7:28.9. The Seahawks finished in front of Bryn Mawr, Franklin and Marshall, as well as Catholic.Â
