SCRANTON, Pa. – First-year Kelsie Miller (Potomac, Md./Churchill) helped the St. Mary's College of Maryland women's swim team to a pair of victories Saturday afternoon (Jan. 13). St. Mary's College (6-8, 3-1 AEC) notched victories over host Marywood University (5-7, 1-3 AEC), 121-88, and Wilkes University (4-7), 134-73. The Seahawks fell 199-60 to Misericordia University (6-1) to wrap up their afternoon at the Marywood Quad Meet.
 
How It Happened

• Miller picked up individual wins in the 200 butterfly in 2:14.98, the 100 butterfly in 59.50, and the 200 individual medley in 2:17.41.
• Seniors Marissa Fields (Clements, Md./Chopticon) and Kate Holland (Rockville, Md./Rockville) and sophomores Venus Kai Judge (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) and Bella Ramirez (Silver Spring, Md./Springbrook) earned a third-place finish in the 400-freestyle relay in 4:12.01.
• Senior Julia Milner (Middletown, Md./Middletown) recorded a fourth-place finish in the 200 breaststroke in 2:52.85.
• Judge collected a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 1000 freestyle in 12:37.42 and in the 500 freestyle in 6:04.22.
• Fields touched the wall in 1:10.58 in the 100 backstroke for fifth place while coming in seventh in the 50 freestyle in 28.77.
• Senior Lilianna Bowman (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) led the Seahawks in the 200 backstroke in 2:32.13 while placing sixth in the 200 freestyle in 2:27.18.
• Bowman, Holland, Ramirez, and senior Katie Stolzenberger (Island Heights, N.J./Allentown) finished fifth in the 400-medley relay in 4:54.87.
• Holland notched a fifth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke in 1:20.57 while sophomore Kate Pass (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) went seventh in the 100 freestyle in 1:05.31.
