ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swimming posted a 1-1 record in a pair of dual meets this weekend. St. Mary's College (6-4, 3-0 AEC) dropped a 158-104 non-conference decision to University of Mary Washington (3-2) Friday night (Nov. 15) before rebounding with a 197-39 Atlantic East Conference road win over Immaculata University (1-4, 0-1 AEC) Saturday afternoon (Nov. 16).

Luke Schwenk (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) and first-year
Harrison Greenwald (Reisterstown, Md.) each captured two events to lead the Seahawks against Mary Washington.
Schwenk claimed first in the 100-backstroke in 50.51 before taking first in the 50-freestyle in 21.39. He also anchored the second-place 200-freestyle relay (1:27.22) along with sophomores
Anthony Davis (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) and
Kyle Smith (Crofton, Md./Crofton) and junior captain
William Kendrick (Laurel, Md./DeMatha Catholic).
Greenwald notched first-place finishes in the 500-freestyle (4:55.92) and the 400-individual medley (4:21.35) while taking second in the 1000-freestyle in 10:36.91.
Sophomore
Daniel Madigan (Waldorf, Md./North Point) won the 100-breaststroke in 1:01.32 before going second in the 200-breaststroke in 2:12.26. Madigan also went third in the 400 IM in 4:31.69. He began the meet by swimming the second leg of the third-place 200-medley relay (1:39.99), joining Kendrick, sophomore
Qwada Moses (Bowie, Md./DeMatha Catholic), and Smith.
Davis took first in the 100-freestyle in 48.91 while tallying a third-place finish in the 200-freestyle in 1:50.68. First-year
Stephen Lepine (Rockville, Md.) collected a pair of third-place finishes in the 1000-freestyle (10:40.24) and the 500-freestyle (5:16.38) while finishing fifth in the 200-butterfly in 2:25.32.
Sophomore
CB Jurado (Odenton, Md./Arundel) led SMCM in the 200-backstroke with a fifth-place finish in 2:24.12. Jurado also added a fourth-place finish in the 200-freestyle in 1:57.08. Smith had the best finish by a Seahawk in the 100-butterfly, coming in fourth in 55.32.
at Immaculata
Schwenk, Madigan, and Greenwald paced St. Mary's College in the decisive conference win at Immaculata with two individual wins each.
Schwenk led a pair of 1-2-3 finishes in the 50 and 100-freestyle events as he captured the 50 free in 21.65 and the 100 free in 48.08. Madigan earned first-place finishes in the 100-breaststroke in 1:04.76 and the 500-freestyle in 5:21.42 while swimming the second leg of the winning 200-medley relay (1:44.36) along with Kendrick, Moses, and Jurado.
Greenwald's two wins came in the 200-freestyle (1:50.60) and the 200-breaststroke (2:28.35). Lepine picked up the win in the 1000-freestyle in 11:04.76 while taking second in the 200 butterfly in 2:30.89 and the 500-freestyle in 5:30.43.
Moses led the Seahawks in the 100-backstroke with a win in 1:00.62 while coming in third in the 100-freestyle in 52.76. Sophomore
Luca Fairbank (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) registered a pair of second-place finishes in the 200-backstroke (2:26.74) and the 200-individual medley (2:21.53).
