LYNCHBURG, Va. – St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swimming earned their first wins of the new season Saturday afternoon (Oct. 25) as five Seahawks notched multiple wins. St. Mary's College (2-1) posted a 130-74 victory over host Randolph College (3-1) and notched a 147-45 triumph over Virginia Wesleyan University (1-2).
 
Senior captain William Kendrick (Laurel, Md./DeMatha Catholic) and junior Anthony Davis (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist) were both part of three wins this afternoon while junior Daniel Madigan (Waldorf, Md./North Point) and first-year Brendan Mannion (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) collected a pair of victories.
 
How It Happened

• The Seahawks began the meet with a first-place finish in the 200-medley relay in 1:42.47 behind the efforts of Kendrick, Madigan, junior Kyle Smith (Crofton, Md./Crofton), and Davis.
• Mannion picked up an individual win in the 200-freestyle in 1:51.21 while Madigan placed third in 1:54.59.
• Davis touched the wall first in the 50-freestyle in 22.15 while Kendrick captured the 100-freestyle in 50.80 and Smith takes third in 51.57.
• First-year Harry Brooks (Centreville, Va./Westfield) tallied his first collegiate win as Brooks claimed first place in the 200-backstroke in 2:07.29 while sophomore Harrison Greenwald (Eldersburg, Md./Century) won the 500 freestyle in 5:06.24.
• Madigan's individual win came in the 200-breaststroke in 2:17.93 while junior Luca Fairbank (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) placed third in 2:23.30.
• To end the meet, Kendrick, Smith, Mannion, and Davis clocked 1:29.98 to win the 200-freestyle relay.
• Greenwald added a second-place finish in the 1650 freestyle in 18:08.87 while first-year Seth Geasey (Myersville, Md./Middletown) came in third in 18:19.20.
• Fairbank led SMCM in the 400-individual medley with a second-place finish in 5:00.61 while first-year JB Bonner (Waynesboro, Pa./Waynesboro Area) notched the team's highest placement in the 200-butterfly, placing third in 2:17.88.
