ARLINGTON, Va. – St. Mary's College of Maryland women's swimming traveled to University of Mary Washington Friday night (Nov. 14) for a non-conference dual meet before heading to Marymount (Va.) University Saturday (Nov. 15) for an Atlantic East Conference tri-meet with Marymount and Gallaudet University.
St. Mary's College (6-4) dropped a 163-99 decision at Mary Washington (3-1-1) and then fell 166-91 at Marymount (5-1, 5-0 AEC) before bouncing back with a 209-30 victory over Gallaudet (0-8, 0-4 AEC).

Emerson Young (Bel Air, Md./Harford Technical) each won an event at the tri-meet at Marymount.

How It Happened
- Miller started her evening with a victory in the 400-individual medley before capturing the 100-butterfly in 56.98. She added a first-place finish in the 200-individual medley as well in 2:13.39.
- Young earned a pair of wins in the 50-backstroke (27.68) and the 50-freestyle (24.64).
- Senior captain Venus Kai Judge (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard) took first in the 200-freestyle in 2:01.68.
- Sophomore Addison Willey (Lexington Park, Md./Great Mills) posted a second-place finish in the 100-freestyle in 56.97 while junior Natalie Canham (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) notched a second-place finish in the 100-breaststroke in 1:13.37.
- Sophomore Lauren Goulet (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) placed second in the 500-freestyle in 5:39.87 while the foursome of Young, Willey, sophomore Mandy Cartwright (Waldorf, Md./Thomas Stone), and Miller came in second in the 200-freestyle relay in 1:40.33.
- Young, sophomore Ella Malzahn (Durham, N.C./Jordan), first-year Liv Macaluso (Killingworth, Conn./Haddam-Killingworth), and Willey took third in the 200-medley relay in 1:57.38.
- Canham added a third-place finish in the 50-breaststroke in 33.94 while Macaluso picked up bronze in the 50-butterfly in 28.48.
- Sophomore Isa Bianco (Catonsville, Md./Catonsville) led the team in the 100-backstroke with a fifth-place finish in 1:08.53.

How It Happened
- Young led a 1-2 punch in the 50-freestyle as Young touched the wall first in 25.53 followed by Willey in second in 26.62.
- Miller captured the 100-butterfly in 59.22 after taking second in the 200-butterfly (2:18.42) and the 100-freestyle (56.55).
- The foursome of Bianco, Canham, Macaluso, and Willey picked up a second-place finish in the 200-medley relay in 1:55.98 to start the meet.
- Canham claimed second in the 100-breaststroke in 1:16.44 followed by Malzahn in third in 1:22.09.
- Young, Willey, Cartwright, and Miller notched a second-place finish in the 200-freestyle relay in 1:45.17 to end the meet.
- Goulet went third in the 1000-freestyle in 12:17.86 while Young placed third in the 200-freestyle (2:07.88) and the 100-freestyle (57.32).
- Sophomore Jesse Slingluff (Crownsville, Md./Old Mill) registered a pair of third-place finishes in the 200-butterfly (2:35.30) and the 200-individual medley (2:30.80).
- Canham tallied a third-place finish in the 200-breaststroke as well in 2:49.02 while Cartwright was third in the 500-freestyle in 6:00.89.
- Macaluso led the Seahawks in the 200-backstroke with a fourth-place finish in 2:29.67 while Bianco went fifth in the 100-backstroke in 1:11.64.
