St. Mary’s College Women’s Rowing No. 12 in CRCA Poll

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) released the CRCA Pocock Division III Coaches Poll: Week 5 on Tuesday afternoon (April 15) and the St. Mary's College of Maryland women's rowing team moved down one spot to No. 12 in this week's national rankings.

St. Mary's College competed this past weekend (April 12-13) at the Knecht Cup in Cherry Hill, N.J. The Seahawks finished second in the Division III varsity eight final with a time of 7:13.86, finishing 3.24 seconds behind No. 13 Skidmore College and 9.90 seconds ahead of Bryn Mawr College, who received votes in last week's poll. In the preliminaries, SMCM came in first in 7:37.93.

The Seahawks will be back in action this Saturday, April 19, when SMCM welcomes Washington College to the Teddy Turner Waterfront for Senior Day and their Gold Rush event. The team's first race will be at 10 am.
