Originally, the induction ceremony occurred every year starting with the inaugural class in 1990 but following the Class of 2000 induction ceremony, the Hall of Fame took place every two years.
A brief description of this year's inductees follows. For more detailed information, please contact Director of Athletic Communications Nairem Moran at 240-895-4482 or

She also earned the Capital Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year award in field hockey (2009) and women's lacrosse (2010). She left the SMCM field hockey program as the all-time leader in goals (44), assists (23), and points (111), records which stood for 13 years. She amassed 92 goals and 107 assists as a midfielder for St. Mary's College women's lacrosse.
The
1995 ICSA Women's Dinghy National Championship sailing team was the first of two national titles in this discipline for St. Mary's College. The team was comprised of seven current and future All-America selections. Danielle Brennan Myrdal '98 garnered the Madeleine Cup for being the low-point skipper in Division A at the national championship while Elizabeth Graves '95 picked up the Judy Lawson Trophy. Competing alongside Brennan Myrdal and Graves were crew Courtney Cook '97, Kate Drew Fears '95, Christina Dyer Hope '95, and Kristen Jones Mangus '95, and skipper Kerry Murphy Myers '95.
Earl Dean served as the SMCM Equipment Room Manager for 27 years (1994-2021) while devoting over 40 years of service to St. Mary's College as a valued employee.
