LEBANON, Pa. — The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's cross country team finished fifth at the 2026 LVC Dutchmen XC Invite Saturday morning at Union Canal Tunnel Park.

The Seahawks totaled 183 points to place fifth among 15 teams competing in the 8K, finishing with a combined time of 2:25:09 and an average time of 29:01. Lebanon Valley won the team competition with 40 points, followed by Susquehanna (72), Eastern (118), and Penn State Berks (174).

Junior Pierson Hogue led the way for St. Mary's, finishing 23rd overall with a time of 28:22.9. Hogue averaged 5:42.5 per mile and earned 25 points toward the Seahawks' team score.

Freshman Brandon Smoot was St. Mary's second finisher, placing 32nd overall in 28:47.9. Freshman Connor Walsh followed in 38th place with a time of 28:59.4.

Freshman Kal Yewlsew crossed the finish line in 44th place at 29:16.1, while freshman Reylouson Vilmenay rounded out the Seahawks' scoring five, placing 53rd overall in 29:43.3.

St. Mary's also received strong efforts from Blake Carberry, who finished 59th in 30:28.2, Noah Fisher, who placed 60th in 30:28.5, and Jack Kuta, who crossed in 71st at 30:54.3.
