The St. Mary's College of Maryland athletic administration has updated the current spectator policy for the Winter/Spring 2022 semester.
There will be no capacity limits for all home varsity athletic contests for the 2021-22 athletic season.
For all indoor home athletic events, campus visitors must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including receiving a booster shot within 30 days of becoming eligible, and be able to present proof of vaccination upon request by College officials.
Any fan 12 years old and older must be fully vaccinated (at least, two weeks since their last shot).
Any fan aged 5-11 must have at least one shot.
If campus visitors are not vaccinated or cannot show proof of vaccination, they must present either
proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival to campus OR proof of a negative rapid antigen test taken within 24 hours of arrival to campus.
If campus visitors are unable to provide either proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test, they will not be allowed entry into the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center (MPOARC) Arena or MPOARC Aquatics Center.
Masks must be worn indoors at all times. No food or drink will be allowed inside of the MPOARC Arena or Aquatics Center.
Masks are required for all unvaccinated spectators at outdoor venues when there's no social distancing and are required for everyone at all indoor venues (MPOARC and the indoor areas of Jamie L. Roberts Stadium). Masks are highly encouraged for all outdoor venues and all vaccinated spectators.
When St. Mary's College is traveling, the host institutions will have their own policies regarding spectators. It is recommended that you visit the host institution's athletic website for spectator policies.
St. Mary's College of Maryland reserves the right to change spectator policies at any time. Spectators not following protocols and policies will be asked to leave the premises.
