York, Pa. - St. Mary's College of Maryland men's basketball (10-16) ended their season on Tuesday (Feb. 19) night with a loss at second seeded York (20-6) in the Capital Athletic Conference Tournament Quarterfinals. The Seahawks fell to the Spartans 76-47.

How It Happened
A Spencer Schultz free throw and Naheed John three-pointer gave the Seahawks a 4-0 lead just a minute and a half into the contest. Next, the Spartans responded with an eight-point run for their first lead of the game. York extended their lead to 34-21 with just over a minute left in the half. Zach Spooner ended the half on a high note for the Seahawks with a made layup and the Seahawks headed into halftime trailing by 12.
St. Mary's College trailed by 18 points with 17 minutes left to play and attempted to get back in the game with a quick five point burst. Rodney Christian started the run with a layup and Justin Milstead followed with a made three ball. However, the Spartans answered with 10 unanswered points to go up by 23 and kept their sizable lead for the victory.
Inside the Box Score
Milstead led the Seahawks on the offensive end with 16 points, while adding three steals and one block defensively.
Darick Kerns led the Seahawks on the glass with seven rebounds.
