Brad Leydig has joined the St. Mary's men's basketball coaching staff for the 2019-20 season. Leydig brings a wealth of knowledge from the Division III level as he competed as both a player and coach as an undergraduate at Bridgewater (Va.) College, (2014-18). 

Leydig aided Bridgewater in three-straight ODAC playoff appearances while he was affiliated with the program. While at Bridgewater he specialized in individual player development, scout team preparation, and on-court evaluation/coaching.

After graduating from Bridgewater, Leydig was immediately hired by his alma mater, James Madison High School. He served as Varsity Assistant for the 2018-2019 season while completing his Master's degree. Madison finished the season ranked #23 in a tough Virginia 6A region.
At Madison he was responsible for assisting with practice planning, talent evaluation, and scouting. Multiple athletes from the Madison squad are now competing at the collegiate level. 
A native of Fairfax, Virginia, Leydig has earned his Bachelor's of Arts at Bridgewater College as a Business Administration major with a minor in coaching, and a Master's of Science at George Mason University with a concentration in Sport Management. 
Currently Bradley is teaching Business Administration at local Chopticon High School.
