Men’s Swimming Drops Non-Conference Meet at Washington College

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's swimming team (1-4) traveled to Washington College to take on the Shoremen (2-4) on Friday (Nov. 15) evening in non-conference action. The Seahawks fell to the Shoremen 177-63.

How It Happened

  • The Seahawks failed to capture a first-place finish in an event today, but had strong finishes throughout the meet. Notable finishers included Sebastian Ludwig (2nd - 1,000 Yard Freestyle, 2nd - 500 Yard Freestyle), Peter Orban (2nd - 100 Yard Backstroke, 2nd - 200 Yard Backstroke), Anri Cifuentes Robinson (3rd - 100 Yard Breaststroke), Jack Kennedy (2nd - 50 Yard Freestyle), and Jacob Rosenzweig-Stein (3rd - 200 Yard Breaststroke).

  • In addition, the Seahawk 200 Yard Medley Relay and the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay teams finished second.
