Sydni Thacker joined the Seahawks women's lacrosse coaching staff prior to the 2020 season following a solid four-year career with the St. Mary's College women's lacrosse program.
Thacker, a 5-8 attacker for the Seahawks, notched 66 goals and 14 assists in 54 games played with 36 starts. She added 33 ground balls, 29 draw controls, and 13 caused turnovers as well.
Outside of lacrosse, Thacker served as a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee team representative and joined the SAAC Executive Board as a junior in the role of Vice President of Marketing and as Co-President as a senior. She earned a spot on the 2016 Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) All-Academic Team and was part of the SMCM 3.0 Club during her first-year and sophomore seasons. As a senior, Thacker was the recipient of the Athletic Director's Award for her outstanding service to the Seahawks athletic department.
