Why St. Mary's College?: The excellent pre-med program and med school acceptance rates are above 90%. The small school community means I feel taken care of, valued, and seen. Administration and staff isn't overworked with student ratio leaving them available to help students and going above and beyond what is expected. The majority of the student body is so kind, friendly, and down to earth. While being a small school, diversity is prevalent and staff work to maintain a strong sense of belonging and community in all of its students ESPECIALLY in its athletes. That athletic program is amazing.
Best SMCM Sports Moment: Every day I have come to practice my first few weeks, my teammates check in on me, ask me to hit, come up with fun stretching questions and make sure I'm where I need to be because they genuinely care.
