Seahawks Compete at Osprey Open

 STOCKTON, N.J. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's cross country team came off of a two week break in meets to compete in the Osprey Open on the campus on Stockton University Saturday morning (Sept. 21). 

 The Basics

  • Place – 12th of 21/390 points

  • Location – Stockton University – Stockton, N.J.

 St. Mary's Top 5 Finishers

  • Senior Marie Lewis was the first Seahawk to cross the finish line as she ran a 27:05.85 for 66th overall.

  • First year Grace Dillingham was right behind Lewis in 70th overall running a time of 27:15.35. 

  • Sophomores Isobel Hermans and Amy Forsbacka finished back to back in the 114th and 115th spots as Hermans ran a 29:10.84 and Forsbacka finished at 29:14.98. 

  • Dana Barbakoff rounded out the Seahawks top five as she crossed the finish line at 30:14.47.

 Other Race Highlights

  • Senior Jennifer Polo from Ramapo College finished first overall with a time of 23:40.89. 

  • Ramapo won overall team championship with a total score of 67 points.
