Easley Pierson joined the SMCM sports medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer on August 5, 2026. Pierson will be caring for and working with women’s volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s lacrosse, and sailing teams as a member of the Seahawks sports medicine staff.
Pierson spent February through May of 2026 working as an athletic training student with the Louisville Kings of the United Football League in Arlington, Texas. He held additional athletic training student positions with the Lebanon Valley College football (2024) and women’s ice hockey (2025) programs and at the Wyomissing Area High (2025) and North Lebanon Secondary (2025) Schools.
He also interned at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and Penn State Family Medicine from May through June 2025. Pierson also served as an athletic training student at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex (August-December 2024).
The Smyrna, Del., native was a four-year letterwinner (2021-2025) in men’s lacrosse at NCAA Division III Lebanon Valley College (Annville, Pa.) of the Middle Atlantic Conference – Freedom Conference. He saw action in 65 contests as a defender, scooping up 79 ground balls and causing 37 turnovers. He also added four career points on three goals and one assist.
As a senior, he was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team and landed on the MAC Academic Honor Roll as well as the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll.
Pierson graduated from Lebanon Valley in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science before wrapping up a Master of Athletic Training at LVC in May 2026.
