Huntingdon, Pa. - Cabrini
College closed out the second half on a 15-0 run to notch a 60-45
triumph over St. Mary's College of Maryland as well as third place
at the Juniata College Holiday Invitational Sunday afternoon.
Juniata captured its own tournament with a 76-59 victory over
Manhattanville College in the championship game as tournament MVP,
Jen Hnatuck, poured in 22 points on 11-of-13
shooting.

Roberts (Rockville, Md./The Barrie School), and Cabrini's
senior guard Alyssa Brady (Allentown,
Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) all joined Hnatuck
on the All-Tournament Team.
Senior guard Stephanie Saint-Aubin (Bowie,
Md./Elizabeth Seton) led the Seahawks with a game-best 17 points en
route to eclipsing the 1,000-point mark. With her jumper at
10:12 of the second half to knot the game at 38-38,
Saint-Aubin recorded her 1,000th career
point. She now has 1,003 points in three years as a Seahawk.
Cabrini (4-5) outscored the Seahawks, 38-20, in the second half,
including the 15-0 outburst in the game's final 4:03. The
Cavaliers connected on 12-of-14 free throws during the run while
sophomore forward Kara Hinkelmon (Marlton,
N.J./Holy Cross) nailed her first three-point shot of the game,
pushing her team's lead to eight with 1:41 remaining.

Walck (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) paced Cabrini with 15
points each while Walck and sophomore
Laura Caron (Warrington, Pa./Archbishop Wood) each
hauled in eight rebounds. Brady added 13
points and game- and team-bests of nine boards, three blocks and
three steals. Senior guard Deana DiAmico
(Wilmington, Del./Ursuline Academy) contributed 13 points as well
plus six caroms, three assists, three steals and two blocks.
Ten first-half points from Saint-Aubin helped
St. Mary's (2-9) secure a 25-22 halftime lead after overcoming an
early six-point deficit with an 18-5 run to boast a 20-13 advantage
with 6:29 remaining the half. The Cavaliers came within 23-22
at 2:30 behind a Brady three-pointer but senior
center Alex Wenger (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall)
gave the Seahawks the three-point edge with her jumper at 1:57 as
both teams combined for a 0-for-6 effort for the final two minutes.
Along with 17 points, Saint-Aubin contributed
six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Freshman guard
Pui Sham (Springfield, Va./W. Springfield) added
10 points for the Seahawk offense while senior center Alex
Wenger (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) pulled down a team-best
seven rebounds.
