Swarthmore, Pa. – The
St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team held
nationally-ranked Swarthmore College scoreless in the second half
but the Garnet managed a 3-1 victory over St. Mary's in
non-conference action Wednesday night.
The Seahawks (1-4-1) will look to notch their second win of 2010
on Saturday, September 18 when they travel to Owings Mills to take
on Stevenson University at 3:00 pm in St. Mary's Capital Athletic
Conference opener.
No. 13 Swarthmore (5-0) claimed a 2-0 lead as senior forward

made good on a penalty kick at 23:07 and then
Langley assisted on junior forward Fabian
Castro's (Houston, Texas/Lamar) tally at 27:26.
St. Mary's avoided the shutout in the first half as junior

season as junior midfielder Aaron Lewis (Fulton,
Md./Sandy Spring Friends) assisted on the play.
