St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's soccer team fought a tough defensive battle against the University of Mary Washington Eagles but ended the game with a scoreless draw on Wednesday afternoon in Capital Athletic Conference action.

How It Happened

- The Seahawks would take nine shots in the first half while Mary Washington would have six shots.
- The game would be closely contested with the Seahawks, taking a total of 18 shots for the game, while the Eagles walked away with 17.
- St. Mary's senior forward Gillian Sawyer (Columbia, Md./Wilde Lake) would take nine shots for the Seahawks.
- The game would end at 0-0 after a grueling match in double overtime.
