Chestertown, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team remains unbeaten on the young 2016 campaign with tonight's 1-0 non-conference road win over the host Washington College Shoremen.

How It Happened
- Junior forward Emmanuel Oppong (Tema, Ghana/Blake [Md.]) commandeered a Washington College clearing attempt, weaved through the Shoremen defense, and netted his second goal of the season from 20 yards out off the left post at 41:28.
- The second half was a testy affair with three of the four Seahawk yellow cards coming in the final 45 minutes of the match.
- First-year goalkeeper Patrick Paolini (North Potomac, Md./Quince Orchard) preserved the shutout with three saves in the second half on seven shots faced.

- Scorer: Oppong (1 goal).

- Tonight's Seahawk victory is just the fourth all-time against Washington College in 14 matches as the Shoremen now lead the series 7-4-3.
