The St. Mary's College of Maryland Volleyball team was untouchable in Friday night's matchup against Trinity Washington. The Seahawks hosted Trinity to make what was just their third home match of the year, a memorable one. After picking up a road win on Wednesday, the Volleyball squad wanted to keep that momentum rolling and they did just that by taking down Trinity in a quick three set match.

How it Happened
-
The Seahawks pounded Trinity right out of the gate taking the lead quickly and holding them in the single digits. The Hawks went on a 12 point streak to secure the win and breeze past Trinity in the first set (25-6).
-
The Hawks knew they controlled this match and proved that quickly in the second set, holding Trinity to one for the first 10 points. Trinity was able to gain a few points but the Hawks would give them no more than they did in the first set; beating them once again (25-6).
-
Trinity tried to put the pressure on St. Mary's but the team handled it in stride. Trinity scored more points than they had in the first two sets combined. However this was easy work for the Seahawks to manage and they held the lead and took the third set to win their second game of the week (25-14).
