FARMVILLE, Va. – Sophomore guard
Micah Henry (Laurel, Md./Hammond) tallied a game-best 14 points as the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's basketball team faced their first of two Division I opponents Saturday afternoon (Nov. 11). Longwood University (1-1) posted a 95-43 victory over St. Mary's College in an exhibition game.
How It Happened
- The Seahawks tied the game twice in the first two minutes on a pair of jumpers by first-year guard Kyree Smith (Baltimore, Md./City College).
- Longwood then opened a 17-4 lead at 15:16 with a 13-0 run and cruised to a 53-22 halftime advantage.
- The Lancers doubled up St. Mary's, 42-21, in the second half on route to their first victory of the season.
