Chestertown, MD-- The St. Mary's Men's Rowing Team competed in their first regatta of the spring 2023 season at the Washington College Invite (Mar. 25). Racing was canceled mid-morning due to poor conditions. The afternoon round of racing was not completed, so the MV8 squad did not have the opportunity to race. Racing was with an incoming tide and increasingly rough conditions throughout the morning.

How it Happened:

• The MV8 Seahawks squad came in third place behind Villanova and Adrian with a time of 6:04.

• The M2VA boat crossed the finish line in 7:23, putting them in third place behind Catholic and Villanova.
