St. Mary's City, MD. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis team took on the Gophers of Goucher College in their second home match of the spring season. The Seahawks fell to the Gophers 6 - 3.

Diana Levit fell short in the number one singles spot for the Seahawks in two sets.

Hannah Gorel notched the first point of the match for the Seahawks as she won in the number two singles spot in two sets.

Gorel's win got the momentum going for the Seahawks as Amber Manspeaker followed behind her with another win in the number three singles spot. Manspeaker won in two sets.

Sydney Anderson notched the third and final point for the Seahawks as she won the number four singles spot. She took down her opponent in two sets, 6-2 and 6-4.
Up Next for the Seahawks
The Seahawks will be back in action on Tuesday, March 14th as they travel to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina for the PTR Spring Tennis Fest. The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis team will take on Lynchburg College on the road.
