ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team celebrated 50 years of men's lacrosse at St. Mary's with a key United East Conference win Saturday afternoon (April 15). In front of several dozen men's lacrosse alumni, St. Mary's College (9-5, 3-0 UEC) picked up a 17-5 triumph over SUNY Morrisville (6-4, 1-1 UEC) to remain undefeated in conference play.
How It Happened
- The Seahawks scored two goals in five seconds off the sticks of first-year attackman Joshua Martel (Linthicum, Md./North County) and senior Mitch Boudreau (Towson, Md./Towson) to open a 2-0 lead at 12:45 before closing out the first quarter with a 6-1 advantage.
- St. Mary's scored eight goals over the next two periods, including six in the second frame for a 12-1 halftime margin.
- Finding themselves down 16-1 with 10:36 remaining in the game, Morrisville found the back of the net four times in a row, including back-to-back goals by Evan Kistner.

- Boudreau was near perfect at center X, winning 15-of-17 face-offs with a game-best 12 ground balls, while first-year Matteo Ciccarello (Crofton, Md./Arundel) went 6-of-9.
- Shots were 50-31 in favor of St. Mary's while grounders were 41-21 to the Seahawks.

- Senior attackman Walker Krizman (Damascus, Md./Damascus) netted a career-tying four goals while finishing with a game- and team-best five points and adding three ground balls.
- Sophomore attackman Keegan Preis (Upper Falls, Md./Loyola Blakefield) also tallied a game-tying five points as Preis dished out four dimes and scored his 18th goal of the season.
- Junior defenseman Ethan Little (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) and sophomore defensive midfielder Quinnten Hatfield (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) led the defense with three caused turnovers each.
- Senior Ben Robertson (Davidsonville, Md./South River) made nine stops for the Seahawks.
Morrisville Game Notes
- Kistner was the Mustangs' scoring leader with two goals while Dylan LaPlace turned away 15 shots and picked up three grounders.
