Fairfax Station, VA-- The St. Mary's Men's Rowing Team   traveled to Fairfax Station, Virginia for the Annual MARC Championships. The Seahawks competed against: Adrian, Lehigh, Villanova, MSOE, Catholic, Cabrini, Stockton, Washington College, and Franklin and Marshall. 

How it Happened:

• The Seahawks Men's Varsity 8 Team competed in heat one and finished in the top three, qualifying for the Grand Finale. St. Mary's crossed the finish line in 6:37.3, which was good enough to give them third in their heat. 

• The Second Varsity 8 Team for the Seahawks came in fifth place out of the six teams racing. The St. Mary's squad finished with a time of 6:56.8. 

• In the Grand Finale, the Seahawks took home fifth place, finishing their race in 6:39.2. St. Mary's finished ahead of Villanova, who came in sixth place.
