Philadelphia, PA-- The St. Mary's Men's Rowing Team traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to compete in the Murphy Cup. The Murphy Cup featured several Division I and club programs from across the country. For the Seahawks, Lehigh was the most notable opponent, as they are a conference foe.

How it Happened:

• The MV8 Seahawks squad competed in heat one and finished in fourth behind Marist, St. Josephs, and Temple. St. Mary's crossed the finish line in 6:46.18. The MV8 squad would go on to race in the 14P1 Men's Collegiate Petite Final, coming in second with a 6:41.08. Colgate would finish first in the event. 

• The St. Mary's 2MV8 team would come in fifth in their race, earning a time of 6:55.80. Loyola,Marsit and Temple would cross the finish line before the Seahawks.
