St. Mary's City, MD. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Soccer Team (0-1-1) concluded the Annual Seahawk Classic with a match up against visiting Greensboro College (0-1-1). The Seahawks and Pride played to a 0-0 draw. 

How it Happened

• The Seahawks came out of the gates hot, registering the first nine shots of the game. 

• St. Mary's had several opportunities to gain an advantage early on, especially thanks to the effort of Ella Raines. Raines had four shots on goal in the first half, but saw all of them turned away by Greensboro Goalkeeper Sofia Pagnamenta,

• Despite controlling the momentum the majority of the first half, the Seahawks found themselves in a stalemate with the Pride and went into the locker room knotted up at 0-0.

• The Seahawks outshot the Pride 11-4 over the course of the first 45 minutes. 

• Greensboro and St. Mary's traded opportunities early on in the second half, but once again, the Seahawks seized the momentum and held onto it consistently for the rest of the game. 

• The St. Mary's defense held the Pride to just two second half shots, both of which occurred early on.

• The Seahawks offense out shot the Pride 12-0 over the last 20 minutes of game action. 

• Despite the flurry of shots by the Seahawks, only five were put on goal and all five were turned away by Sofia Pagnamenta. 

• Ella Raines and Flor Katz-Starr both gave the Seahawks great scoring chances deep into the second half, but could not find the back of the net. 

• The Seahawks and Pride ended the game in a 0-0 Draw.

Inside the Box Score 

• Ella Raines finished with 14 shots in the game, putting a staggering eight on goal. 

• The Seahawks out shot the Pride 25-6 over the course of 90 minutes. 

• Cicely Clark, Ella Raines, Erin Clark, and Allie Petryszak all played 90 minutes on the field for the Seahawks. 

• Emma Tawney finished with two saves and a clean sheet.
