Mary Washington began to control the possession time in the second half and generated a number of great scoring opportunities. The Eagles hit the post on several occasions, but also saw a number of shots controlled by Seahawk goalkeeper Kyleigh Bland.

The Seahawks had their best scoring opportunity in the 63rd minute when a pass leaked through to Alyssa McLane just outside the top of the box. McLane boomed a kick towards the upper portion of the goal and just missed, hitting the upper post.Â
