St. Mary's College Women's Soccer Rolls Past Valley Forge

Phoenixville, PA. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Soccer Team (10-1-2) traveled to Valley Forge (2-6)  for a United East Conference contest with the Patriots. The Seahawks came out on top 10-0. 

How it Happened

  • The Seahawks jumped out in front to a 7-0 lead after the first 45 minutes of play. 

  • Brooke Hall and Lillee Covington each recorded a goal, while Gracie Tourangeau and Mia Mckenzie found the back of the net twice over that stretch. 

  • St. Mary's also was the beneficiary of a Valley Forge own goal. 

  • The Seahawks struck three more times in the second half. 

  • Madelyn Minichino and Gracie Duch each netted a second half goal.

  • The Patriots recorded another own goal in the second half as well. 

  • St. Mary's out shot Valley Forge 35-0 and took home a 10-0 victory.
