How it Happened

The Ravens held an 11-10 advantage midway through the first set. The Seahawks tied it at 11 after a kill from Julia Bobrowski and never looked back. St. Mary's scored 10 unanswered points on a Maggie Mohler service run to take a commanding 20-11 lead in the set. The Seahawks went on to take set one 25-17.

The Seahawks jumped out to an early 7-2 lead in set two and were able to keep their foot on the gas. St. Mary's was able to capitalize on Rosemont errors throughout the set and grew their lead to as much as 15. Faith Shockley, Maya Mauro, and Gracie Zartman all had big sets for the Seahawks as the took set two, 25-11.

The third set was more of the same for St. Mary's. The Seahawks were able to jump out to a 5-0 lead to begin the set, thanks in part to two Arielle Lubeck service aces. The fast start propelled St. Mary's forward for the remainder of the set, Julia Bobrowski continued to be a factor for the Seahawks offensively as they pushed their lead to 12-3. The Seahawks went on to win the third set 25-13. Â
