St. Mary's City, MD – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis Team (8-5) matched up with Penn State Harrisburg in the United East Volt Division Championship. The Seahawks fell 5-0. 

How It Happened:

Doubles

• Amber Manspeaker and Cleopatra Solomon dropped the number one doubles match 8-1.

• Ellie Walter and Giselle Harris competed in the number two doubles match, dropping the contest 8-0.

• Lauren Loveoy and Emily Shioutakan fell in the number three singles contest, 8-2.

Singles 

• Amber Manspeaker battled in the number two singles match. Manspeaker dropped the first set 6-1. In the second set, down 5-2, Manspeaker fought off two match points to make it 5-3 and then won a dramatic deuce point in the next set to make it a 5-4 contest. She would go on to fall in the second set 6-4, but showed great resilience throughout the match. 

• Giselle Harris fell 6-1, 6-0 in the number singles contest to wrap up the day for the Seahawks.

• Cleopatra Solomon battled incredibly hard in the number one singles contest.
