St. Mary's City, MD- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Volleyball team (5-5) welcomed Trinity Washington (1-3) to campus for a midweek non-conference matchup. The Seahawks completed a clean sweep of the Tigers, winning three sets to none.Â

The Seahawks went on two runs of six straight points and a run of seven to claim a 25-5 first set victory.Â

Trinity bounced back to begin the second set, tying St. Mary's at four to get things going. Despite the stronger start from Trinity, it would be all Seahawks from that point on. St. Mary's ended the set on a 12-0 run to win 25-5. Camilla Galeano contributed three straight service aces to help close out the set for St. Mary's.Â

St. Mary's was able to build a 12-3 lead in the final set. Trinity had no answer for the Seahawks attack, as they once again went on a massive run to close the set. St. Mary's scored the last seven points of the set, winning 25-8 and taking the match 3-0.Â
