New York, N.Y. –  The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's basketball team closed out the nonconference portion of its schedule with a strong 73–63 victory over Mount St. Joseph University on Thursday afternoon at the Baruch College ARC Arena.

The contest featured 12 lead changes and eight ties, with neither team able to create separation through the first three quarters. St. Mary's entered the fourth period holding a slim 48–44 advantage before using a decisive final quarter—outscoring the Lions 25–19—to secure the win.

Olivia Liszt delivered a standout performance, pouring in a game-high 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting, while adding five rebounds. Tramarie Mobray followed with 21 points, seven assists, four rebounds, and three steals, controlling the tempo and igniting multiple fast-break opportunities.

Rayna Miller added 10 points and eight rebounds, while Sidney Shaw chipped in eight points, three assists, and a block. Off the bench, Keira Mason contributed seven points, six rebounds, and five assists to help steady the Seahawks during key stretches.

St. Mary's capitalized in transition throughout the afternoon, scoring 21 fast-break points, and converted 19-of-25 free throws to close the game late. The Seahawks also recorded 36 points in the paint and forced 14 Mount St. Joseph turnovers.

Mount St. Joseph was led by Karlee Mills with 17 points and Hailey Guingrich with 16 points and 18 rebounds, but the Seahawks' balance and late-game execution proved decisive.

With the win, St. Mary's improves to 6–4 overall. The Seahawks return to action tomorrow for their second game of the New York Invitational against Rhodes.
