ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Senior captain
Hailey Betch (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) tallied six points Saturday (April 26) to become the all-time points leader of the St. Mary's College of Maryland women's lacrosse program. Twelve different Seahawks found the back of the net as top-seeded St. Mary's College (9-7) blanked fourth-seeded Cedar Crest College (5-8), 29-0, in the semifinals of the 2025 United East Conference Championship Tournament.
Betch entered today's action needing just two points to break
Lauren Carrier '09 record of 311 points and she exceeded that with six points on three goals and three assists this afternoon. The 6-0 attacker eclipsed the record in the first quarter with her assist on senior captain
Colin Horton's (University Park, Md./Elizabeth Seton), giving SMCM a 2-0 lead less than two minutes into the game.
St. Mary's College will now face third-seeded Bryn Athyn College (8-4), who was a 10-9 winner over No. 2 seed Wilson College in the tournament's other semifinal contest. The Seahawks and Bryn Athyn will meet in next Saturday's (May 3) championship game at 1 pm.

- Junior attacker Katelin Scala (Catonsville, Md./Mount de Sales) tallied a career-best eight points on three goals and season-high five assists.
- Sophomore defender Claire Boudreau (Towson, Md./Towson) corralled a career-best 11 draw controls while scoring her second career goal and adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- Sophomore attacker Sam Collins (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton) scooped up a career-high four ground balls and dished out two assists.
- Senior Isabel Gautreaux (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) and sophomore Allie Greeley (Havre de Grace, Md./Havre de Grace) split equal time in goal with Gautreaux making one save and Greeley notching two stops, one caused turnover, and one ground ball.
Cedar Crest Game Notes
- Irelyn Yoder finished with five saves in the first 30 minutes while Brynn Rifino came up with four stops in the second half.
