Edwardsville, PA-- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Baseball Team (13-16) matched up with the Cairn Highlanders (28-15) in game two of the United East Conference Final Four. The Seahawks fell short 11-2, concluding their season.Â

Eli Shafer got the Seahawks on the board in the bottom of the third inning with an RBI double that scored Aaron Wathen from third.Â

The Highlanders scored two runs in the top of the fourth and sixth innings to make it a 7-1 ball game.Â

Cairn scored four more runs in the top of the ninth. St. Mary's scored a run in the bottom of the ninth after Corey Brown reached base on a fielder's choice to score Trevor Smith from third. That would be the end of the Seahawks scoring as they fell 11-2.Â
