Korey Blair (Baltimore, Md./Overlea) was named the United East Conference Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year when the league office released the 2025-26
Men's Basketball All-United East Conference Teams Tuesday morning (Mar. 3).
Additionally, Blair garnered Second Team All-United East honors while sophomore
James Crimaudo (Riva, Md./South River) gained a Third Team All-United East award.
Blair is the fourth St. Mary's College of Maryland men's basketball player to notch Rookie of the Year accolades joining
Christian Macauley (2010-11) and
Gary Grant '24 (2019-20), who earned the honor in the Capital Athletic Conference/Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference, and
Yassine Idrissa (2024-25), who picked up the United East award last season.
Blair ranks fourth in the conference with a .795-free throw percentage while tying for sixth with 2.1-three-point field goals made per game. The 6-3 guard also sits 15th with 13.9 points per game. He scored in double digits in 16 games, including posting five 20-point efforts. Blair put up a career-high 22 points at Penn State Brandywine (Feb. 14).
Crimaudo comes in sixth in the United East with a .764-free throw percentage while ranking 10th with 6.4 rebounds per game and a .397-three-point field goal percentage. He scored in double figures 15 times, including three 20-point games, while recording two double-doubles. The 6-5 guard/forward dropped a career-best 28 points against Penn State Harrisburg (Feb. 2) while hauling in a career-high 13 rebounds at Wilson College (Jan. 13).
St. Mary's College finished the season with a 10-14 (6-7 UEC) record, clinching the No. 7 seed in the United East Championship Tournament.
