ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's lacrosse team dominated action in Wednesday's (April 22) United East Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament Divisional Semifinal game. No. 1 seed St. Mary's College (5-10) earned a 26-5 victory over No. 4 seed Notre Dame of Maryland University (0-11).
The Seahawks will now face No. 2 seed Wilson College (8-9), a 14-7 winner over No. 3 seed Cedar Crest College, in Saturday's (April 25) Divisional Championship at the Jamie L. Roberts Stadium at 1 pm.

Katelin Scala (Catonsville, Md./Mount de Sales) tallied her 200th career point when Scala assisted on senior captain
Gina Jaffurs' (Leonardtown, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) goal to give SMCM a 3-1 lead at 12:22. She finished the game with six points on two goals and four assists.
How It Happened
- St. Mary's College rolled out to a 12-1 lead with 1:44 remaining in the first quarter as junior midfielder Sanne Elling (Ocean View, Del./Sussex) scored three times and junior attacker Grace Maurice (Clinton, Conn./Cheshire) added a goal and three helpers. The Seahawks headed into the second period with a 10-goal advantage after Madison Miller found the back of the net.
- SMCM outscored Notre Dame, 4-2, to take a 16-4 lead into halftime.
- A 4-0 push in the third gave the hosts a 16-goal cushion after 45 minutes of action.
- St. Mary's College closed out the game on a 6-1 run for the Seahawks' 15th consecutive win over the Gators.

- SMCM outshot the visitors, 43-10, while dominating draw controls, 26-7, as Elling collected a career-best seven draw controls and Scala contributed six.

- Jaffurs and Elling both contributed four goals while Jaffurs added four ground balls, an assist, a caused turnover, and a draw control.
- Junior Allie Greeley (Havre de Grace, Md./Havre de Grace) and first-year Lilly Gunder (Perkiomenville, Pa./Perkiomen) split equal time in goal. Greeley made one stop in the first half while Gunder notched two over the final 30 minutes.
Notre Dame Game Notes
- Leah Acri scored twice to lead the Gators while Leah Hasberry turned away eight Seahawk shots and scooped up three ground balls.
