ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Second-year Head Coach Allyson Osborne announced Monday (July 13) the hiring of Jenna Angstadt as the next full-time assistant field hockey coach for the St. Mary's College of Maryland field hockey program.
 
Angstadt, who began her duties July 8, will also serve as an assistant athletic communications director.
 
"I am very excited to welcome Jenna to our Seahawks family. She offers guidance and expertise that will propel the next generation of St. Mary's field hockey," Osborne declared.
 
Angstadt joins the field hockey coaching staff following a year working in marketing and communications in the private sector at Londonderry Village and VIN IQ.
 
"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to join the St. Mary's field hockey program and am excited to contribute to a culture of growth, hard work, and success," Angstadt said. "Go Seahawks!"
 
The Newmanstown, Pa., native was a four-year letterwinner in field hockey at NCAA Division III Lebanon Valley College (Annville, Pa.) of the Middle Atlantic Conference – Freedom Conference. She saw action in 59 contests with 21 starts, moving from defender in her first two years to forward/midfielder as a senior. Angstadt tallied eight goals, including three game-winners, and five assists for 21 career points.
 
She was a two-time MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week as a senior and landed on the MAC Academic Honor Roll twice.
 
Off the field hockey field, Angstadt was a staff writer and editor for La Vie Collegienne, Lebanon Valley's student run newspaper. She was also the social media manager for the LVC field hockey program.
 
Angstadt worked at the Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey Camp over four summers between July 2021 and July 2025.
 
She assisted with marketing programs at VIN IQ (December 2025 – April 2026) and Londonderry Village (May – November 2025) by creating content as well as restructuring and creating a monthly newsletter.
 
Angstadt graduated from Lebanon Valley in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Communication, and Marketing.
