LEBANON, Pa. — The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's cross country team finished seventh at the 2026 LVC Dutchmen XC Invite Saturday morning at Union Canal Tunnel Park.
The Seahawks totaled 198 points to place seventh among 14 teams competing in the women's 5K, finishing with a combined time of 1:51:23 and an average time of 22:16. Millersville won the team competition with 24 points, followed by Lebanon Valley (91) and McDaniel (94).
Junior Ella Mitchell led the way for St. Mary's, finishing 12th overall in a time of 20:07.5. Mitchell averaged 6:28.6 per mile and earned ninth in team scoring.
Senior Weiya Carter was the Seahawks' second finisher, placing 71st overall with a time of 23:12.5. Senior Elise Geiger followed closely behind, crossing the finish line in 23:14.2 to finish 72nd.
Senior Madison Kingsley placed 80th overall with a time of 23:57.2, while senior Alexis Hodges rounded out St. Mary's scoring five in 83rd place at 24:16.5.
The Seahawks also received ?strong performances from Molly Hieatzman, who finished in 24:33.9, as well as Sophie Reed (25:14.3), Aurora Della-Giacoma (26:36.7), Elle Wilson (26:37.4), and Kayla Thomas (27:53.6).
