Joseph Bryner joined the St. Mary's College baseball coaching staff prior to the 2022 season. Bryner will work with the Seahawks hitters, catchers, and corner infielders. He has previous experience working with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.

The Leonardtown, Md., native is coming off a solid four-year career at St. Mary's College, earning All-Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Second Team honors at first base as a senior. Prior to St. Mary's College, he attended St. Mary's Ryken High School, where he picked up All-St. Mary's County and All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference honors in 2017.
