Williamsport, PA. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Soccer Team (3-6-3) traveled to Penn College (8-1-7) for a United East Conference Contest. The Seahawks and Wildcats ended the match tied 0-0.

How it Happened

• The Wildcats and Seahawks went into the first half locker room knotted up at zero a piece. 

• St. Mary's had a couple of opportunities early on to cash in. Cicely Clark saw a shot on goal saved just three minutes into the contest. Morgan Kresslein also had a great chance to score in the early going on a header, but unfortunately saw her shot go safely into the hands of the Penn College goalkeeper as well. 

• Kylie Wells has three saves in the opening half of play.

• The Seahawks peppered the Wildcats to begin the second half to the tune of three shots on goal. Flor Katz-Starr, Diana Clay, and Cicely Clark all had great opportunities to give St. Mary's the lead within the first 10 minutes of the half. Despite all the great opportunities, the Seahawks still could not get one to go in part to great goalie play from Penn College. 

• Cicely Clark was a catalyst for the Seahawk offense in the second half. Clark took three second half shots and put all three on goal, including one in the 73rd minute that once again almost gave the Seahawks a lead. 

• Mia McKenzie had the last best chance for St. Mary grabbed a lead in the game in the 75th minute, but too was turned away by the Wildcat Keeper. 

• Kylie Wells preserved the 0-0 tie in the 87th minute with her seventh dave of the game.

• Kylie Wells snagged seven saves in the match.
