St. Mary's City, MD. - The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Soccer Team (4-6-3) hosted United East Conference Rival Gallaudet (4-9-0) for a midweek contest. The Seahawks took down the Bison 9-0. 

How it Happened

• It took the Seahawks 28 minutes to find the back of the net, but once they saw one go in, they didn't look back. The Seahawks would go on to score six goals in the final 17 minutes of the first half. 

• The Seahawks had five different goal scorers in the first half. Megan Stambaugh, Julia Kleine, Chekesa Sife,  and Gracie Duch all had one goal. Felicia Fishburne netted two. 

• Morgan Kresslein and Chekesa Sife both had two first half assists. All six Seahawk first half goals were assisted. 

• St. Mary's outshot Gallaudet 47-0 in the first half. The Seahawks led 6-0 going into halftime.

• The Seahawks added three more tallies in the second half, one of which being an on goal committed by the Bison. 

• Mia McKenzie and Julia Kleine were the second half goal scorers for St. Mary's. 

• St. Mary's took 58 shots in the contest and put 22 of them on goal. The Seahawks would hold the Bison shotless in the contest. 

• The Seahawks would win by a final score of 9-0. 

Inside the Box Score 

• Chekesa Sife and Julia Kleine filled the stat sheet for the Seahawks. Sife finished with one goal and three assists. Kleine contributed two goals and an assist. Kleine also paced St.Mary's in shots with 12.

• Chekesa Sife, Gracie Duch, Felicia Fishburne, and Mia McKenzie all scored their first goal of the Season this evening. 

• The Seahawks earned their sixth clean sheet of the season.
