St. Mary's City, MD. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland Women's Tennis team took on the Sea Gulls of Salisbury University on their home courts. The Salisbury Women's Tennis team is ranked 16th in the Atlantic South Region. The Sea Gulls swept the Seahawks 9-0.

Giselle Harris in the number five singles spot had the closest winning attempt. Her first set was only a 6-3 loss to the Sea Gulls. The second set repeated, and Harris fell 6-3 again.

Hannah Gorel in the number two singles spot blanked her first set but came back strong in the second only falling 6-3. Diana Levit's performance was similar in the number one singles spot.

The Seahawks will be back in action this Saturday, April 1 as they travel to Lancaster Bible in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for their first United East Conference matchup.
