  • The Seahawk offense would wake up again in the top of the sixth thanks to yet another home run. Gavin Wathen connected on a two run shot to get St. Mary's back to within one. George Berbakos tied the game later in the inning on a sacrifice fly ball that sent home Chase O'Dell. The tied game would be short lived after another two run inning from the Nittany Lions pushed the lead back up to two.

  • Ian Walters opened the top of the seventh with a solo home run to get St. Mary's to within one. Despite getting so close, the Seahawks could not get the tying run around and dropped game one, 8-7.
