St. Mary's City, MD-- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Baseball Team (6-10) hosted the Nittany Lions of Penn State Harrisburg (19-5) in a pivotal United East Conference Matchup. The game ended after five innings with the Nittany Lions coming out victorious, 15-1.
How It Happened

Penn State Harrisburg came out of the gate fast, building a 7-0 lead over the course of the first three innings. St. Mary's was able to get some offense going in the top of the fourth thanks to a lead off Cole Tarleton double, followed by a George Berbakos RBI single that allowed Tarleton to score from second.

The game was called in the bottom of the fifth due to inclement weather. The Nittany Lions would take game one of their weekend three game series by a final score of 15-1.Â
